01

Uploads and processing

When a tool requires a file, SheetWise receives the file to perform the selected workflow, such as analysis, conversion, cleanup, OCR, chart generation, or report creation. Upload only the data needed for that task.

The original file on your device is not modified. SheetWise produces a separate preview, analysis, or downloadable output.

02

AI providers and generated results

Some workflows may send relevant prompt text or extracted file content to configured AI services so the requested result can be produced. AI output can contain errors and must be reviewed before business, legal, tax, payroll, or financial use.

Do not rely on generated content as professional legal, accounting, tax, or investment advice.

03

Account and Workspace access

Saved Workspace items are associated with the signed-in SheetWise account. Connected Google Sheets require the user to authorize access to their own Google account. SheetWise does not intentionally expose one user's private workspace or connected files to another user.

Protect your login credentials and sign out on shared devices.

04

Data minimization

Avoid uploading Social Security numbers, full payment-card details, medical records, passwords, private keys, or other highly sensitive information unless a workflow explicitly requires it and you are authorized to process it.

Remove unnecessary columns and identifiers before upload whenever possible.

05

Storage and deletion

Different tools may use temporary processing files or saved Workspace records. Retention can vary by workflow and account action. Users should delete saved items they no longer need and contact support for account or data-removal questions.

SheetWise does not promise a specific automatic-deletion interval on this page unless that interval is technically enforced for the relevant workflow.

06

Transport security

SheetWise is served over HTTPS, which protects data in transit between the browser and the website. No online system can guarantee absolute security, so users should still follow appropriate internal controls for confidential business information.

Before uploading

A practical security checklist

  • Confirm you are authorized to use the file.
  • Remove columns that are not needed.
  • Avoid passwords and full payment-card data.
  • Review formulas, code, and calculations before use.
  • Delete saved results that are no longer required.
  • Contact support when a privacy question is specific to your account.
Security FAQ

Common questions

Does SheetWise change my original workbook?

No. The original file on your device remains unchanged. Tools generate a separate result, preview, or export.

Can other users see my Workspace files?

Workspace records are tied to the signed-in account and are not intended to be publicly listed or shown to other users.

Should I upload highly sensitive personal information?

No. Use data minimization and remove highly sensitive fields unless they are necessary and you are authorized to process them.

Are AI-generated results guaranteed to be correct?

No. Review every important formula, report, code block, and financial calculation before relying on it.

How do I ask a data-handling question?

Use the Contact & Feedback page or email support@sheetwiseai.com with enough detail to identify the relevant workflow without including unnecessary sensitive information.
